Volunteer of the Month January, 2018

​Amadou Ceesay is a first year Computer Science major at the University of the Gambia. Coupled with being an education advocate, Amadou is a Red Cross volunteer. Amadou’s passion for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is undoubtable; he attained his Diploma in Information Systems Management at Aptech Computer Education. He recently completed a Cyber Security training organised by #Africtivistes in collaboration with Pr. Richard Brooks, Clemson University, USA.
Amadou’s devotion to volunteerism has aided him to earn numerous leadership awards. He is currently the Interim Vice-Chairperson at Serrekunda Central Youth Committee, and of late, he represented his Region (Kanifing Municipality) as a Conference Delegate at the National Youth Conference and Festival (NaYConF).
